The drainage elements supplied are either of proprietary VAS design or can be procured by other specialized suppliers, at the Buyer’s option.
The framing is of cantilever or C-frame type, depending on the particular conditions of the mill, and as a standard it is of solid stainless steel, with some elements in stainless steel clad mild steel.
Wire rolls are balanced for the maximum design speed, and are either rubber covered or ceramic coated.
Suction couch rolls have shells in bronze or duplex stainless steel, with internals entirely in solid stainless steel.
Wire tension is automatically controlled via load cells, through motorized wire tension devices.
