VAS  builds size presses for starch application on various paper grades. Large diameter rolls allow safe operation at speeds up to 1,000 m/min. Particular care is given to the size press accessories and components, to avoid splashing, sheet breaks, and optimize the web pick-up starch solution. The starch distribution in the press nip is done via specially designed manifolds granting even and smooth flow to the web.
The size presses are, as a standard, completely pre-erected, pre-piped and pre-wired, to allow installation in minimum down time.
