VAS supplies dryer sections of modern design, with particular attention to those elements that are vital for high efficiency and runnability at the today’s high production speeds.
The features incorporated in the VAS dryer section include:

• Uni-felted dryer groups with no-draw sheet transfer between groups.
• Fabric run design with blow boxes to optimize web support and avoid sheet flutter at high production speeds.
• Silent drive either through direct driven fabric rolls or through journal-mounted gear boxes on individual dryer cylinders.
• Rope-less tail transfer system, by air chutes.
• Turbulence bars in the dryer shells for enhanced heat transfer.
• Fabricated frames of modular design.

VAS doesn’t own a foundry: the dryer cylinders are sourced from various reliable suppliers, and are available either in cast iron or in steel, with steam pressures up to 10 bar, build as per PED or ASME codes, or any other coding, as required by the final user.
