VAS designs and builds winders to satisfy all requirements of today’s paper industry, giving optimum reel structure and highest operational speeds. The drums are provided with surface treatment granting high grip with all paper grades. The rear drum is grooved and drilled for vacuum application, to enable a fully automatic roll change. The operational sequences are controlled through dedicated PLC.
Slitting unit is provided with motor-driven counter-knives with frequency control. Optional fully automatic web-in/web-out slitters positioning.
